Multi-Axis Motion Controller
A compact ESP32-based controller developed to avoid the routing, power-distribution and connector-access conflicts that often force PCB respins.

Why the project needed coordinated engineering.
The challenge was not simply placing components; it was balancing electrical requirements with connector access, maintainability and physical integration.
Fit six motion channels and expansion interfaces
The controller required six driver channels, USB Type-C and expansion connectivity in a compact four-layer PCB architecture.
Density could compromise routing and usability
Power distribution, high-density routing, connector orientation and debug access could compete for space, leading to a board respin or poor fit within the intended product.
Build the layout around electrical and physical constraints
Edbotics developed the board architecture and layout around channel integration, power paths, connector access, expansion interfaces and practical packaging.
